Mads Mikkelsen (King Arthur), a rising Danish actor, plays in the new James Bond flick, as the villain and poker expert in the remake of the first James Bond film, Casino Royale.

Mikkelsen will play next to the new Bond, Daniel Craig, as Le Chiffre, a poker gambling genius that combines great poker abilities with terrorist aspirations and a villainous mind.

Mikkelsen comments about the new James Bond Actor, and says the new Bond fits his part. "Working with Daniel was great. He’s a great actor and he’s going to be a very strong Bond. He’s definitely my favorite 007." More of this interview is available on the articles page.

Casino Royale is the first James Bond story Ian Fleming wrote, which features the classic thrilling poker scene with Bond. When Casino Royale first went on, it immediately became a smash, turned James Bond into a legend, and was then on remmembered as the most famous casino movie in history.

In this film, Bond is first seen spying on suspicious terrorists for his agency - MI6. Bond comes across Le Chiffre, who serves as a banker to the world's greatest terrorist organizations. It is discovered that Le Chiffre's plan is to raise money in a high stake poker game at the Casino Royale. Bond is sent to play in that poker game against Le Chiffre, with the goal of beating him in the poker game and thus destroying his plans.

As stated to worlds-best-online-casinos.com, Mikkelsen states that his character is more realistic than previous Bond villains, as he is more materialistic and emotional and shows his human side in the poker games he plays. "Le Chiffre is not trying to conquer the world, or invent something that’ll make him King of the world."

In preparation for the part, both Mikkelsen and Craig had to practice and study casino games with various experts in order to pull off their role as gamblers.
