Austin, TX, United States, 11/20/2009 - Laura Benold, formerly event director for the Clean Energy Venture Summit in Austin, Texas and marketing communications associate at the Austin Technology Incubator, has joined Mercom Capital Group as a public relations executive.

Mercom has appointed Benold, former event director and marketing communications associate at the Austin Technology Incubator, as public relations executive to develop and manage communications programs for their public relations and public affairs clientele and to help support their growing communications division.

In addition to the symBIOsis Forum and Bioscience Open House, she also planned and executed all events for the CleanTX Foundation.
