In addition to the ground breaking, Universal will be handing out employee recognition awards for 2008.

The new building will be a big asset in the continued growth of the company in stream lining the manufacturing and production for the Huntington Park and Gardena locations. The facility will house all key equipment, which includes an in-house 8 Alpine Extruders, Sheldon Arvor, Amplast and several T-shirt bags machines, 4 color Flexo-printers, inline printers and inline bag machines, which double the production capacity.

"In the past all of our services have been spread out between our two locations," remarked Pedro Lupercio. "The building will allow us to bring all of our services together for a more efficient and timely production schedule for our employees and clients."
