The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) recently awarded Richardson-based is7, a Stratmark company, a 2009 Best in Show Davey Award for Marketing Effectiveness. Leading professionals from acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms such as Wired, ADWEEK and HBO selected is7 from over 4,000 entries representing the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. Only 10 Davies were awarded.
The lauded campaign benefited CURE International, a nonprofit organization focused on the 100 million children in developing countries who can be cured completely from crippling orthopedic conditions, Hydrocephalus, Cleft Palate and spinal deformities. CURE has seen over 1 million patients and performed 70,000 life-transforming surgeries.
is7 created a donor-driven architecture for its award-winning “Sign a Cast” acquisition campaign, featured on their website and through viral and social networks, that compels individuals to add a message to a disabled child’s cast. In doing so, a partner provides funding for that cast for a child.
