Verndale, developers of CatholicTV.com, has built an iPhone App and Widget, named CatholicTVjr, exclusively for CatholicTV. With the recent release of these two applications, CatholicTV has greatly expanded their interactive offering, allowing viewers the flexibility to access content in a variety of ways. The iPhone App is available through the iPhone or iTouch, allowing individuals to carry their faith on the go. With CatholicTVjr other diocesans, parishes, schools, agencies or even personal sites can now embed a compact version of the Catholic Broadband Network to their websites.
"These valuable additions have allowed us to promote CatholicTV through additional areas, firmly expanding brand awareness and increasing traffic back to our website," said Father Robert Reed, Director of the CatholicTV Network. "Our viewers are now able to watch streaming video through their mobile devices and embed our programming into their own websites, free of charge."
