This is the third year that the publication has conducted the Merchandiser of the Year competition. “Being successful in our industry means a lot of things today, from marketing and customer service to events that bring in shoppers and their families,” said Paige Worthy, managing editor of the magazine. “But the store has to look great first, and we started this competition to celebrate garden centers who really nail that essential aesthetic element.”
