Today, Fantasy Football Crystal Ball announced its initial ratings of fantasy football experts’ predictions for the NFL season. Fantasy Football Crystal Ball collected the player performance predictions of experts from 14 fantasy football websites, ranging from large to small, over the last 4 weeks of the current season. These predictions were then graded for accuracy at each position group using a performance points league standard.
As a group, the experts’ grades varied widely with the smaller sites as often as not proving more accurate than the large sites. In addition, grades varied widely by position – with quarterbacks and running backs proving much easier to predict than wide receivers, placekickers, and defenses. Overall grades were not as accurate as individual position grades. These ratings will be updated each week and posted on the Fantasy Football Crystal Ball Website.
