Stuart had been a key member of the team that created and updated the US GAAP taxonomies. With his combined expertise in the taxonomies, GAAP and SEC reporting, he has skillfully provided XBRL consulting and training to registrants, third-party instance document preparers, and software vendors.

For the fifteen preceding years, he served attorneys on high profile cases as a consulting or testifying expert on GAAP, SEC, PCAOB standards and GAAS matters. Previously, he served as CFO of publicly-held companies, where, among other things, he designed and implemented reporting systems for multi-layered, multi-national companies. Stuart commenced his professional career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand.
