Rockaway, NJ, United States, 2006/06/06 - ReedLink has made searching for products in wireless, manufacturing, construction, life science, and other B2B industries even easier with the introduction of various filtering capabilities [NYSE: RUK; ENL].
ReedLink’s new filters eliminate the need for users to manually enter advanced search criteria. Instead, they are presented with a range of pre-determined product specifications and supplier locations. Upon clicking on a hyperlink of choice, a user is then directed to a filtered results page with relevant product and company information. This will greatly reduce the amount of time and effort to search and refine results.
“B2B users should find searching for industrial products such as palletizers as easy as shopping for shoes,” says Han Huang, Director of Product Management and Strategy for ReedLink. “Just as one can shop for shoes by size and color, a user can select and compare palletizers on ReedLink by load capacity and machine type.”
ReedLink’s new filtering capability is displayed via a filter pane on the left hand side of its product search results pages. In addition, users will also continue to have the ‘Refine Your Results’ option, where they may input their own search parameters into boxed fields.
The new filters help ReedLink users refine their searches, making it easier and quicker to find relevant information. For example, a user looking for junction boxes in California can find filtered results of 52 relevant suppliers and their products in the area.
In addition to a host of other recent improvements, the addition of filters aims to enhance overall user experience and increase the efficiency and relevancy of an online product search.
