OutSec is proud to announce the release of Dictamus, a new application for the iPhone. Working closely with German software company Jotomi, Dictamus is now available from both iTunes and the iStore. It is fully compatible with OutSec FileManager, the online transfer program that allows digital sound files to be distributed to a network of British secretaries. Recordings may be made using the touchscreen on the iPhone, saved and then sent direct to the client page on OutSec FileManager, without the need to return to the office to download and submit files from a PC first. Sound files are sent using the wifi or mobile phone network.
This software is nothing short of revolutionary. The implications are enormous for those who work outside an office environment, such as surveyors, inventory clerks and barristers at court. The added flexiblity and ease of accessibility in being able to send work immediately for typing ensures a much quicker report turnaround. In addition, there is no longer the need to purchase and carry a separate digital recorder.
