WAT-AAH! will be educating kids about the importance of drinking water and encouraging kids to limit their consumption of sugary drinks and snacks. WAT-AAH! Bones, with its neon orange label, will be handed out along with fun merchandise such as backpacks, school supplies, tattoos and reusable plastic bottles.

Rose Cameron, the founder and CEO of WAT-AAH!, commented, “last year’s Halloween effort in New York City was a successful one. Though parents were initially surprised with our message and by the fact that we were putting bottled water in the kids’ goody bags, they were thankful for our presence and effort. In fact, many kids asked for seconds.”

WAT-AAH! acknowledges that Halloween and trick or treating are traditions loved by kids and many parents. Cameron adds, “We are not against this festive holiday and don’t intend to spoil it for them, but we believe it is a very important and appropriate time to remind kids that eating too much candy and sweets is not good for them."

About WAT-AAH!
WAT-AAH! (drinkwataah.com) is the first brand of functional water without sugar and is designed for kids between the ages of 4-15 years. After hearing about childhood obesity and the severity that the next generation could be the first in more than 200 years to live shorter life spans than their parents, Rose Cameron founded WAT-AAH! with the help of her own kids and other moms. Utilizing her background in marketing and branding, Cameron launched WAT-AAH! in New York City last June 2008. WAT-AAH!’s mission is to reverse children’s dependency on sugar-laden drinks and to help fight the single greatest health threat in their lives, i.e., childhood obesity.

In a recent nationwide challenge, where kids were asked to pick WAT-AAH! over sodas and juices, 9 out of 10 kids surprised their parents and chose WAT-AAH!. WAT-AAH! is currently distributed in many stores and groceries throughout the east coast, from Maine to Florida, specifically Whole Foods Market.
