Award-winning recruiter and career strategist Kathy Graham is presenting Career Strategies for Your Future™, her workshop that is the group adaptation of a program originally created at the request of the CFA Society of Chicago. That program sold out repeatedly.
This highly interactive half-day workshop is scheduled for Nov. 6 and again on Nov. 13 from 8:30 am. to 11:30 am. at the Management Association of Illinois, 1400 Opus Pl., Downers Grove, IL. Preregistration is $129 and $149 at the door, providing space is available.

It includes numerous side-by-side “before” and “after” examples drawn from Graham’s real world files that show you how to fix resume errors, what the Eight Essentials are, what your summary must contain, and how to handle special situations such as career transition, job hopping, recent graduate, and unemployment. There is also a detailed chapter on how to write an effective cover letter and why most cover letters today do not present the individual in the best light.

She was a first-day presenter at the 2009 Chicago Federal Reserve’s Ninth Annual Private Equity Conference where she spoke on how firms can use human capital to more effectively promote portfolio growth.
Graham obtained her MBA in Finance, Analytic Finance, and Econometrics & Statistics from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She received her BA in Business Administration and Marketing from North Central College, Naperville, IL, where she also taught classes in corporate finance.
In 1998 she was recognized by the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with their “CEO” award, given annually to only five MBA students. From 2001 – 2005 she was the global chair of its Alumni Finance Roundtable that attracted 130 - 400 senior professionals to monthly events.
Graham is an active member of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds, the CFA Institute nationally and locally, Chicago Financial Women, and Hedge Fund Cares.
