VerticalResponse, Inc., a leading provider of self-service email marketing, online surveys and direct mail solutions, today announced it was a finalist in the 2009 San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business "Ebbies" Awards in the ‘Emerging Growth’ category along with Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation and SendMe. This marks the fourth award nod for VerticalResponse in the past week, as the company continues to grow its revenue, staff and services despite the difficult economic climate.
The "Emerging Growth Award" was presented by Recology and Wells Fargo and was awarded to a San Francisco small business or emerging-growth company that has demonstrated a capacity for creativity and innovation, experienced growth and established itself as a leader in its industry. Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation took out top honors for this category in 2009.

Last night’s Ebbies Awards Gala was attended by 900 of San Francisco’s top-level business leaders from large, mid-size and small businesses, as well as key leaders from the city government administration, Board of Supervisors and community organizations.
