Cloud enablement leader, Parallels, today announced that MESH (mesh.eu/en), the premier European data center and services provider, has deployed Parallels Automation to provide their reseller channel with a wider portfolio of white-labeled applications, including Microsoft Hosted Exchange, Windows Sharepoint, and Open-Xchange Linux-based email and groupware. Following this week’s successful launch, MESH is now able to leverage Parallels Automation to deliver cost-effective, hosted services in a cloud model and with capabilities that were previously only available to large enterprise businesses.
"Parallels Automation provides MESH a scalable platform to deliver our white-label resellers multiple SaaS applications," explains Ernesto Fries Urioste, founder and member of the Board at MESH. "Our vast reseller channel requires a flexible billing and administration solution that is consistent across all our service offerings and Parallels meets that need. With the success of this launch, we are already planning to add more SaaS applications in the coming months."
MESH operates more than 80 data centers in cities worldwide, including London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Singapore and Moscow and many in Germany. In addition to its vast data center operations, MESH’s scope of services also includes co-location as well as IP traffic, router technology, DSL, SDSL and domain services.
MESH manages all the automation technology and support for its reseller channel and improves their ability to bundle services they choose to offer customers, through a standardized control panel. Parallels Automation provides a complete end-to-end automation platform — complete ordering, billing, and service delivery and helps drive the expansion of new hosted services to increase productivity and profitability Parallels Automation enables delivery of SaaS applications including Microsoft Exchange, Windows SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS), etc. in a hosted environment and lets MESH become a one-stop shop for hosted applications. In the SaaS model, end-user customers subscribe to the application instead of purchasing them, typically on a monthly basis. In this pay-as-you go approach, SMBs are afforded an easy-to-use low-cost service. For more information on MESH, resellers are invited to visit store.mesh.eu.
"As businesses look to lower their IT costs, SaaS will continue to play a key role in delivering more choice and increased profitability," said Jack Zubarev, President at Parallels. "Parallels Automation will help MESH and its resellers provide multiple-vendor solutions and flexible billing and administration across its different service offerings."
