International Biometrics Group (IBG) USA, has recently published the results of IBG’s Round 7 - Biometric Testing Report which included an independent testing of the IG-AD100® Dual-Eye Iris Recognition Camera System; the latest innovative camera from IrisGuard Inc. The camera received Top Scores in the 'Overall Testing’, particularly the system’s extraordinary and unprecedented 100% correct recognition rate and thus, the never achieved before, zero error rate.
His Highness Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior, has bestowed “AD100” name for the Iris Camera which stands for “Abu Dhabi 100” during a recent exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Briefly, since 2001, IrisGuard has successfully operated the largest civil iris recognition deployment in the world - the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) Expellee Tracking System. In the course of this national deployment, we have amassed 1.8 million iris records spanning over 190 nationalities. The IG-AD100® camera boasts an innovative automatic Eye Glasses/ Spectacles Detection and processing function that alleviates the effects of specular reflections and no longer requires users to remove their spectacles during the recognition process. Test Findings
The excellent Zero False Match Rate (T-FMR) and Zero False Non Match Rate (T-FNMR) generated by the IG-AD100® systems were unattainable to-date, IrisGuard is the only dual-eye iris camera manufacturer to accomplish such pristine remarkable results. The report states that IrisGuard IG-AD100® camera is one of the first devices tested under IBG’s cross-comparative methodology to achieve perfect transactional matching Equal Error Rates = 0.00% (0.00% T- FMR and 0.00% T- FNMR).
"For IrisGuard, this represents a substantial improvement in performance relative to the IG- H100® tested in CBT Round 6. Along with reduced enrollment rates and transaction /attempt times.
