QATAR International Exhibition for Education, Training and Development (Taaleem 2006), Qatar's only education event, will officially open on Sunday, June 4th, 2006 at the Qatar International Exhibition Center in Doha. The niche education event, to be held from June4-6, 2006 and organized by Conex International Conferences & Expo., will host a three-day exhibition and seminar covering higher educational topics, learning technologies such as e-learning & knowledge management and corporate training.
“Taaleem means education, learning and knowledge. Human Resources is a top priority for the government of Qatar and Taaleem 2006 is a platform to develop and build this valuable resource. Taaleem 2006 is the only dedicated educational event in Qatar which attracts so many local and international educational institutions, training providers and learning technology providers,” says Mr. Moneer Hamada, Executive Manager, Conex International Conferences & Expo.
“Taaleem 2006 will bring together regional and international experts under one roof to discuss on topics highlighting the importance of education, learning technology, and corporate training.” Mr. Hamada adds.
Leading Universities under the Qatar Foundation like Carnegie Mellon, Weil Cornell, VCU and Georgetown University are participating in this premier event. For the first time, Taaleem 2006 will also feature learning technology companies like Techknowledgie, Momenta- Brainvisa, New Horizon which offer e-learning, training and knowledge management solutions to educational institutions and corporates.
The Qatar Science and Technology Park, Al Jazeera Academy, Qatar University, Qatar Aeronautical College, American University of Sharjah, Social Development Center, Women in Business, Mid East Aviation Academy, Les Roches School of Hotel Management, British Council and UNESCO will be present as exhibiters at Ta'aleem.

Taaleem 2006 will attract both Qatari and expatriate students to the latest higher educational and learning opportunities.
