Tampa is a bustling city in Florida that is colored by its small businesses. One small business in particular is taking initiative to launch a series of workshops dealing with a growing topic: Natural Health and Wellness.

Massage Redefined, LLC (massageredefined.com) is a new small business in South Tampa that has made a name for itself by donating to non-profits in the area such as Best Buddies Florida, local YMCA’s, The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and also doing chair massage events around the Tampa area. Their mission is to redefine Massage Therapy by utilizing the Licensed Massage Therapist’s scope of practice in Florida to the fullest; putting therapy back into Massage Therapy through combining the most effective techniques to unwind muscles, fight chronic pain, and relieve stress.

The latest endeavor of this booming establishment has just been released, a series of three workshops which will focus on natural alternatives in the workplace, with family, and incorporating natural health and wellness into one’s lifestyle.

Co-owner and head Licensed Massage Therapist of Massage Redefined, Sam Belyea, and herbal consultant Deserie Valloreo have teamed up to approach this hot topic. Each are impassioned by their profession and have put together a balanced outline of content and interaction for the series.

This entire event won’t be taking place until January/February; however here is a sneak peak at the content:

• January 28th from 6:30pm-8:30pm: Natural Health and Wellness for Business; covering mental focus techniques, energizing meals, and self-massage that can be preformed at your desk to keep you in tip top shape.

• February 11th from 6:30pm-8:30pm: Natural Health and Wellness with your Family; learn what to put in your natural medicine chest, incorporate helpful herbs for cooking, take on making natural floor washes, plus setting your family’s mood with music therapy.

• And finally: February 11th from 6:30pm-8:30pm: Your Natural Health and Wellness Lifestyle; a culmination of how to integrate herbal and alternative therapies into your life by treating your body as a temple and cultivating you inner garden.

These workshops are all listed on the Massage Redefined website and will be introduced by a special open house event January 14th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Massage Redefined in South Tampa, where guests will sample natural foods and organic teas as they meet the hosts of this upcoming event.
