Fanscape CEO, Larry Weintraub, introduces Account Director, Mary Michael Marlo; Manager, Corporate Communications, Natalie Svider; Senior Manager, Social Media, Eric Fransen; and Coordinator, Digital Communications, Irene Shin. The company has seen a great deal of growth in 2009 and continues to add staff to meet the demands of its top-notch clients.
Word-of-mouth marketing is rapidly becoming an important factor in the overall world of marketing and promotions. Connecting with the right audiences in the right places and offering them something fresh and exciting enough for them to engage, is at the heart of what the Fanscape team does on a day-to-day basis. The additional staff members will expand on this philosophy and accompany the other members in delivering highly measurable results.

Having started her career in traditional media with Gotham, Inc., Mary Michael Marlo determined that online and mobile communications was the future of marketing and quickly established herself in the social media space. Prior to joining Fanscape, Marlo held positions at MySpace and Fox Interactive Media. In her role as Account Director, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of client activities. Marlo holds a B.A. in Advertising from Southern Methodist University.
Natalie Svider has more than 14 years experience in technology, entertainment, gaming and consumer PR both agency- and client-side. In this newly created position Svider will be responsible for all Fanscape-related communications activities as well as managing the company’s Web assets. Prior to joining Fanscape, Svider worked both as a consultant and for PR firms leading a range of corporate and non-profit accounts including Napster, First Star, Lynda.com, Square Enix and Evite. Svider earned her BA in Radio TV & Broadcasting from California State University, Northridge.
Since graduating from USC with a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Advertising and Promotion, Eric Fransen has been involved in marketing. As Senior Manager, Social Media Marketing, Fransen is charged with development and execution of social media strategy. Before starting with Fanscape, Fransen held a viral marketing position at Warner Bros.’ Momlogic.com and prior to that he held a more traditional marketing role at an insurance company in London.
Irene Shin joins Fanscape as Coordinator, Digital Communications where she will be supporting digital publicity, social media and digital promotions on a wide variety of the company’s campaigns. Prior to Fanscape, Shin spent a year with Too Faced Cosmetics where she held a Marketing Coordinator post. Shin recently earned her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine.
