Prosperity Insurance Group, a Jupiter, Florida based company that is a leader in property and casualty insurance, has joined forces with Adams Insurance Services and David Adams. Adams has a long and diverse background in business and personal insurance. His initial responsibilities are to develop the business insurance division for Prosperity ensuring that Prosperity Insurance Group prospects and clients continue to receive the high level of service, value and protection.
Andrea Massie, President and CEO of Prosperity, regards Adams as a seasoned insurance executive. “He brings to us 30 years of broad-based insurance experience with several large institutions. We are confident he will be a tremendous asset as we grow our business insurance division.”
Prior to joining Prosperity, Adams was Chief Operating Officer for a Boca Raton based agency, specializing in business insurance and risk management. Earlier in his career, Adams was Vice President and District Manager of Wells Fargo Insurance (Minnesota), Regional Vice President for First American/Bremer Insurance (Wisconsin/Minnesota) and held other senior management positions related to business and personal insurance sales and management.
“His depth of hands-on client sales and management experience provides him (Adams) with a unique understanding of the needs facing business owners today,” Massie pointed out.
Having worked predominantly for large companies in the past, Adams indicates he is delighted to be applying his skills at an entrepreneurial company. “I will have more direct involvement in the outcome of the business and be able to capitalize on a truly client centric approach,” Adams said. “A boutique insurance agency like Prosperity is well-positioned to grab market share by providing service, value and integrity that are second to none.”
A native of Wisconsin, Adams attended the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, majoring in psychology and sociology. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Adams, a Wellington, Florida resident, is Vice President of Habitat for Humanity South Palm Beach County, serves on its Executive Committee and is Chair of the Advocacy Committee for Habitat. Adams is a member of the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of the Delray Chamber Men’s Group. His is also a member of The Delray Business Partners.
