Linia Group A survey into the perception of body image and attitudes towards cosmetic surgery has revealed that more men than women would now consider cosmetic surgery!
Liposuction remains the procedure most favoured by the British public. Of the men and women surveyed, 46 per cent of men said they would consider cosmetic surgery compared to 45 per cent of women.
These result shows for the first time that men's attitudes towards cosmetic surgery are almost in line with that of women's, perhaps from the result of ever-increasing public pressure regarding body image.
Comparing the British regions, Scotland had the highest percentage of those surveyed, with 50% indicating that they would consider having liposuction. Wales came in second place with 33%, and the South has the lowest percentage people who would like to have surgery.
