Specialized Communications Corp., a Smithsburg-based broadcast and professional video repair and sales center, hosted a highly successful JVC Workflow Seminar in Baltimore, Maryland that produced some raving fans.
Frostburg State University’s FSU TV3 said, “The show was really good, had a lot of good information and liked that [we] could see [and] demo product. Thought it was better than the NAB booth.”
Additionally, Daniel Carpenter of D. Carpenter Videography said, “Great show! Liked it and thought it was very informative.” While Jeffery White of The White Wolf Group cheered, “Better than NAB or DV Expo!”
The objective of the seminar was to address the needs of both skeptics and fanatics alike and to familiarize attendees with JVC’s GY-HM100 and GY-HM700 cameras and post-production issues.
The seminar, which took place on August 27, 2009 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor, provided live presentations by Doug Davidson, District Sales Manager for JVC. He also launched Q & A sessions for one-on-one workflow assistance.
Specialized Communications staffed a booth that provided attendees with hands-on product demonstrations and workflow demonstrations for all known workflow scenarios.
