Burton and Matthews discussed the future growth prospects of the business music market and what Muzak’s bankruptcy could mean for those prospects. Burton explained that, in its heyday, Muzak boasted over 300,000 subscribers. This number has shrunken dramatically under pressure from higher-quality, lower cost, contract-free options such as AMTC’s Sirius Music for Your Business.
