ACT Conferencing is showcasing its expanding Partner Program at the Channel Partners Expo this week in Miami in booth #4025. The company is enhancing its partner program by introducing unlimited web conferencing at a fixed monthly rate, along with improved web conferencing services, and increased support with the addition of a national channel sales manager.
The demand for web conferencing services continues to increase as travel budgets decrease. To help meet the needs of organizations around the globe, ACT and its resellers can now offer flat-rate billing for unlimited web conferencing, available on a monthly or annual basis. This new billing structure enables resellers to pass along even more savings and convenience to their web conferencing customers.
In conjunction with this new fee structure, ACT has upgraded its on-demand webinar service, ReadyConnect® Web Meeting to include Internet Explorer 8.0, Firefox 3.5 and Safari 4 support, audiocasting, recording, enhanced security features and user experience improvements. With these enhancements, ACT resellers can compete with any web conferencing provider around the globe by offering the highest quality services at a convenient price point.
ACT has also improved the process to acclimate new partners faster to decrease time to revenue. Among the several enhancements made, ACT has reduced the time required to establish new partners in ACT’s reservations system and to customize marketing materials to reflect unique partner branding. In addition, the Partner Collaboration Center, ACT’s online partner portal, includes a self-service interface that enables partners to order reservationless accounts online, which also speeds the ramp-up process.
“ACT works closely with our partners around the world to ensure we are continuously providing the products and support they need to generate revenue quickly and help them grow their businesses,” said Marina Bogard, chief sales and marketing officer, ACT Conferencing. “Service assurance is top priority for ACT.”
ACT’s continued commitment to ensure success for its global reseller partners is evident by the 57 percent increase in new partner revenue ACT has experienced in 2009 alone. The most recent channel partners to join ACT are Advoda Communications, Vimenture and idea! Communications Group.
“We recently joined ACT’s partner program and we have been extremely impressed with the level of education and support they have offered us,” said Frank Ferdowsian, president of idea! Communications Group. “ACT has made us feel like we’re a close extension of the ACT family; this level of support is hard to find these days.”
To help support its growing customer base, ACT has appointed Diane Beile as its new U.S. channel sales manager. Beile, who has 18 years of experience working with channel partners, previously served as the director of channel sales for Microsoft and as the vice president of wholesale services for Global Crossing.
