The next major version of Babya Logic-version 2 features a powerful new feature set and new effects-all using BASS.
Babya Logic 2 will include the same engine as last year's Babya bPlayer 2 uses.
Babya Software Group's A.A. Fussy said, "It's pretty exciting for me to announce this today -as for example, the net radio tuner provides crystal-clear audio even when you save it."
Babya's Product Manager for digital media, Alvin Novick commented,"You can use your favorite Sonique and WinAMP visulations with your music with a minimum of fuss. Or even load and test your WinAMP DSP effects with Babya DSP Studio-WinAMP. The BASS library opens up more audio formats to play and generate funky music with-like AAC and Apple Lossless, MusePack and APE audio support means you can listen to most music with ease."
A.A. added, "Babya Logic 2 comes with a wide, new range of effects called "bLive". It's all done in real-time with instantneous playback and effect processing-effects like Tempo Maestro for pitch shifting and Phasor for a peaking equalizer with a quirky and adjustable phaser effect. Plus, with the enhanced Babya Guitar Amp and Babya Wavettes, you can produce a wider range of sounds, whether short clips to a full song."
Of course, Babya Logic's MIDI engine is quite amazing-and the new BASS feature set makes both MIDI and audio production a big difference-even for current Babya Logic users.

Babya Logic 2 comes with a fast audio extracter called Babya CD Audio Studio that is designed to work in conjuction with Babya WaveBurner.
Like with Babya Logic 1.4, Babya Logic 2 bundles Babya iGrab-the easy way to grab iPod music, without having to manually do it. This utility will let you rip either a single song, or the entire music collection of the iPod.
This utility will not hurt your iPod in anyway, nor modify its database files or music.
Babya iGrab has some limits also: it can only read MP3 encoded music, all other music will not be shown on the list ( eg. music purchased from the iTunes Music Store. It can only grab either one song, or the entire collection, not inbetween.
Babya iGrab will work with most iPods-including the latest fifth generation iPod and iPod nano.

BASS enables the next-generation of previewing and generation of high-quality audio in Babya Logic-some of the features of BASS include:
