Tourette Syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary motor and vocal movements known as tics. Children with Tourette Syndrome often have associated conditions including learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and attention deficit disorders. Tourette Syndrome in and of itself presents a challenge to students in the classroom setting, any combination of associated conditions only exacerbates a child’s inability to concentrate. The strategies and tips presented in this Wednesday Webinar are designed with these setbacks in mind.
Professional development credits will be offered for this webinar. There is no charge to attend this session and a toll-free number will be provided to listen to the audio portion of the presentation. The video portion of the presentation can be viewed by logging on to a website which will be provided at registration.
