Jaspersoft is also introducing a new low-cost JasperReports Professional Developer Edition, which will make it even easier to get started with these powerful new capabilities.
The new JasperReports Professional is available immediately in both developer and production runtime packages starting at $249 per user and $4,600 per production server. Developers get a graphical report designer, a robust runtime reporting engine, hundreds of flash maps, charts, and widgets, along with premium documentation.
Additional features in JasperReports Professional include:
• powerful 100% Java reporting engine for embedded environments;
• graphical report designer to simplify and empower report development;
• rapid interactive chart design with hundreds of supplied Flash charts, graphs, and widgets;

In addition, Jaspersoft will be hosting a European webinar on the new features available with JasperReports Professional on September 24, 2009.
