iLink’s Healthcare Practice Director, Anand Gaddum and their Delivery Manager, Ravi Mallikarjuniah, gave presentations and demos around Interoperability, PHR, EMR and Optimizing ICT Infrastructure.
Ravi Mallikarjuniah spoke about his experience with the Health Record Bank implementation in WA State focusing on Interoperability with Health Information Exchange and explained the concept behind the Health Record Gateway. He said that “the Connected Health Framework from Microsoft provided invaluable guidance and helped us create a more generic and extensible architecture.” Ravi also participated in the session on integrated PHR and EMR Dashboard using Microsoft Health CUI, Microsoft Silverlight and HealthVault.
Anand Gaddum joined the Microsoft team to demonstrate a patient discharge scenario based on Windows 7 employing touch and voice controls. The topic of the presentation was “Optimizing ICT Infrastructure with the Connected Health Platform Guidance, Tools and Solution Accelerators”.
