Out of approximately 10,049 attorneys throughout the State of Nevada, John Bailey and Dennis Kennedy of the law firm Bailey Kennedy have been named among the top 100. Rankings were unveiled in Nevada Business magazine’s 2009 Legal Elite program in this month’s issue. The magazine’s annual list of Legal Elite is determined by votes from attorneys in the state.
“To be named among the top one percent of attorneys in Nevada is quite an honor,” said John Bailey, founder and managing partner of the firm. “We pride ourselves on our dedication to upholding the law and appreciate the recognition from our peers.” Bailey has been practicing law for 25 years and focuses on business litigation and administrative healthcare law.
Kennedy has been practicing for 34 years and focuses on business litigation and professional liability. He is known as one of the state’s top litigators and has received a “1” ranking in the Chambers USA annual listing of outstanding general/commercial litigators in the country since 2003.
Both Bailey and Kennedy were named “Mountain States Super Lawyers” in 2009. This is the third consecutive year each has been given the prestigious Super Lawyers designations.
Nevada Business magazine’s Legal Elite is an annual ranking of Nevada attorneys. Nominations were made by members of the State Bar of Nevada and ranked by the number of votes each attorney received from both inside and outside of his or her respective firm.
