Cat Galaxy, the internet radio & TV station for cats has begun work on its new series called The Street Cats Of Phoenix which chronicles the lives of feral and stray cats on our city streets. The show which is due to air its first episode this Fall, filmed the pilot episode at the Altered Tails Barnhart Clinic in Phoenix during one of their spay days. Viewers will see interviews with the shelter staff as well as witness a spay/neuter surgery.
"This is a one of a kind opportunity for the public to see first hand what happens at a spay/neuter clinic as well as how dedicated the workers are in helping to save the lives of feral and homeless cats. We're hoping that the show will make a huge difference in saving the lives of cats and maybe encourage more humans out there to get involved with rescuing them," said Nohl Rosen of Cat Galaxy.
Other episodes will feature cats awaiting adoption at local shelters, interviews with animal rescue workers that foster cats, and everything else that effects the lives of felines that roam our city streets. The series trailer is already airing via catgalaxymedia.com/.
The Street Cats Of Phoenix is due to air this Fall. Rosen said that the show should make an impact and that it's possible that every episode will be different.
"I think our viewers will definitely find the show interesting and it'll certainly present a unique perspective in what goes on in the world of animal rescue, as workers attempt to save as many cats as possible. The episodes are very real and so are the cats that are featured in them," Rosen added.
