Automation and virtualization leader, Parallels, today announced the addition of Microsoft Office Communications Server R2 to its Parallels Automation offering. Parallels Automation provides hosters a fully integrated unified communications solution that can increase revenue per-user, decrease costs and get to market quickly.
Parallels Automation support of Microsoft Office Communications Server allows service providers to deliver a broader suite of collaboration features to their small and medium sized business (SMB) customers that are normally reserved for large enterprises such as instant messaging, real-time presence, conferencing, and collaboration. For cloud services providers, combining Office Communications Server with a hosted Microsoft Exchange offering enables their customers to take advantage of real-time communications.
