The light and fast F-Secure Internet Security 2010, launched on 3 September, protects the content of Nokia Booklet 3G users from the latest threats without slowing down the computer.

F-Secure and Nokia are extending their collaboration to include Internet security on computers. Owners of the Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop get a free 30-day trial version of F-Secure Internet Security 2010 installed and ready to go on their new Nokia PC. This way users are immediately protected against online threats from the first time they access the web.

Kimmo Alkio, CEO of F-Secure says: “Nokia and F-Secure share the vision that people want to connect to their digital content all the time, no matter what device they are using. F-Secure is committed to making these connections safe across devices and protecting the irreplaceable content on them. F-Secure Internet Security 2010 is a great fit for the Nokia Booklet 3G as the software was designed to be light and fast, using as little of the computer’s resources as possible. Thanks to its newly designed user interface, it is also very easy to use.”

John Hwang, General Manager, Connected Computers at Nokia says: “F-Secure shares a heritage of mobility and has been a long-time partner of Nokia. We believe F-Secure is the right security partner to help make the mobile PC a reality.”

F-Secure Internet Security 2010 is the newest version of F-Secure’s flagship solution. The completely redesigned user interface is clear and easy to use. It is light on memory use and fast and efficient in detecting all Internet threats. Unlike many other security programs, F-Secure Internet Security™ 2010 does not disturb or confuse the user as security problems are handled automatically.

The Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop delivers impressive performance with up to 12 hours of battery life. The full-function PC weighs 1.25 kilograms and measures slightly more than two centimeters thin. A broad range of connectivity options - including 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi - gives consumers high speed access to the Internet.
