The mood of Jigsaw’s AW09 collection is sophisticated and classic with a focus on the reworking and embellishment of classic shapes and styles to create contemporary & must-have women’s clothes. Gold satin is lifted with a flash of bright amethyst, luxurious deep grey velvet is given a light touch with 1940s-style bows and the perfect black cocktail dress is lent an art deco feel with intricate silver bead embellishment. Fabrics are luxurious; satin, velvet and brocade shine in vibrant jewel colours. Emerald, amethyst, fuchsia and chartreuse are tempered with deep greys and neutral tones.

The Jigsaw Story
Jigsaw was founded in 1972 by John Robinson, with the first ever Jigsaw store in Hampstead. Still privately owned by John and his wife Belle, Jigsaw now boasts 47 stores across the UK and 7 stores in the US. In November 2008 Jigsaw launched its first foray into the beauty arena, organic bath and beauty line ‘Jigsaw Organics’ - a project which is particularly close to the heart of John Robinson, who is also an organic farmer.
