After a successful three month soft launch on REI.com, iBert Inc.’s front-mounted bicycle safe-T-seat is now available at 37 of Recreational Equipment Inc.’s (REI) more than 120 stores, nationwide.
“REI has seen noticeable demand for the safe-T-seat online and in stores,” said Kelly Eissinger, president of iBert and developer of the safe-T-seat. “Customers consistently go into REI retail locations specifically asking for the safe-T-seat, and now it will be available to many of them at their local REI store.”
Back in May, an REI sales rep, impressed with the design and functionally of the iBert safe-T-seat, arranged for the product to be carried on the REI Website. After selling more than 100 seats in 30 days, the iBert safe-T-seat is still available to purchase online at REI.com and now at the following REI retail locations:
