Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo has launched a competition for children where the prize is the opportunity to run the theme park for a day!
Four lucky winners will take control of the Park making sure the staff are happy, that the animals are well looked after in the zoo and most importantly, test the rides to ensure they are fun enough!
Duties will include staff motivation by rewarding those doing a good job, giving guided tours on the Safari Skyway and becoming a trainee Zoo Keeper for the day! The Park is also looking for a new Park Manager, who will need to brief Chessington’s resident characters at a board meeting - this could involve the likes of Daisy the Cow, Sir Help-a-Lot, Miss Information and Spike the Dragon – depending on whose shift it is!
David Smith, General Manager, said: “The four competition winners will be invited to run the Park for the day on Saturday 26th September 2009. We are asking any wannabe Park managers to apply by telling us why they would be good at running the Park and what they would do if they had control of Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo for a day.”
Under 16s interested in running Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo for a day (chessington.com) can apply via the Shout About area of the Chessington website.
