Engineers, MRO professionals and others in the market for Industrial Fasteners can now turn to the Industrial Leaders marketplace to compare offerings from manufacturers, distributors and other suppliers. Officials of Industrial Leaders said the site was created to help connect domestic and worldwide buyers and sellers of various metal fasteners for automotive, building and bridge construction, heavy equipment, metalworking, machinery and other industrial applications.
According to Mark Hamilton, spokesman for Industrial Leaders, the site was co-produced with the online auction promoter IndustrialSAVER and includes direct offerings for a broad variety of bolts, nuts, screws, nails, hex head bolts, rivets, sheet metal screws, hardened steel extra large bolts as well as metric stainless steel fasteners. Hamilton said most offers are from US-based manufacturers, exporters and distributors as well as some offerings from Canadian suppliers.
“Buying metal fasteners on the Web is not difficult with so many suppliers to choose from, but finding the right supplier to best meet your needs can be quite time consuming, and that's why Industrial Leaders created the new marketplace,” said Hamilton. He added, “National and international companies can utilize the site to find and compare manufacturers and distributors of all kinds of industrial fasteners constructed in an array of metals and sizes for just about every industry.”
Along with the newly launched marketplace, Hamilton said Industrial Leaders joined forces with IndustrialCOOP. The co-op search engine to publish an international directory of plastic and stainless fasteners. Qualified suppliers of metal and plastic fasteners and fastening systems are able to feature their website in the directory with a direct link to their home page. According to Hamilton, the publication will allow companies looking to purchase fasteners to submit RFQ's directly to distributors and manufacturing companies approved by Industrial Leaders.
