Bizcloud is pleased to thank Elance Corporation, a leading site for online work, for their quick action in protecting Bizcloud’s intellectual property. In the past few days, employees at Bizcloud discovered a request on Elance for a bid on a project to produce an, “…exact replication of Bizcloud.net.” After being notified on the matter, Elance acted promptly and professionally in closing the project and providing the name of the culprit requesting the bid.
Elance identified James Masini, the Founder of Hippo Jobs and Pitchclub. Masini is currently employed with Pitchclub of Melbourne, Australia. Bizcloud has notified Masini and Pitclub that any infringement of Bizcloud’s intellectual property rights are a violation of law and Bizcloud will exercise all legal and equitable remedies at its disposal to enforce these rights.
