The Warren Township Library in New Jersey hosts celebrity chef Maria Liberati for a special presentation of “Celebrating the Holidays in Italy- Cultures and Traditions” on November 14 at 2pm.
The one hour event will include readings and sharing of recipes and traditions from her newest book, The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays & Special Occasions. Along with a presentation by Maria Liberati, she will also be signing copies of both of her books; the bestseller, The Basic Art of Italian Cooking and her newest release, The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays & Special Occasions. This event is free and open to the general public to sample recipes and learn more about the celebration of holidays in Italy and how the Italian culture and traditions have impacted Maria’s cooking.
Maria Liberati is regularly featured in many national and international publications and has been called the "Italian Martha Stewart" by Celebrity Society Magazine (June 2006) and is also considered one of the foremost experts on Italian Cuisine and culture. Her newest cook book, The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays & Special Occasions consists of recipes for holidays such as Christmas Eve, New Years, Valentine’s Day and Carnevale which can turn any event into a special occasion.
