TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB: TLPE), a vertically integrated provider of wireless and landline communications products and services across North America today announced that its subsidiary TelePlus Retail Services, Inc. (``TelePlus Retail'') reported an increase of 52% in wireless handset sales for the month of April this year compared to the same month a year ago. Total number of wireless handset sales for April reached 2,848 compared to 1,877 handsets for the same period last year.
``April handset sales continue to be strong,'' stated company President & COO Kelly McLaren. ``The increase in number of stores combined with the addition of two carriers this year continues to positively impact our performance,'' added McLaren.
