Agri Energy, LLC has been formed with the assistance of the Montana Farmers Union and consists of five landowners as the founding members.

The Montana Farmers Union will be holding community meetings along with representatives of Agri Energy, LLC to introduce the project and its landowner based community wind development process to other Montana landowners. Landowners will have the opportunity to explore options as it relates to the wind resources on their land.

“When the Montana Farmers Union approached us about the concept of landowner driven community wind projects, we jumped at the chance to become involved,” said Jerry McRae, a spokesperson for Agri Energy, LLC. “There is a great deal of confusion in the marketplace surrounding wind resource development so we decided to take matters into our own hands to control our own destiny,” he said.
