Manchester, United Kingdom, 07/16/2009 - FunnyorDie.co.uk, the UK version of the comedy video website founded by US-based comedians Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, has appointed independent online advertising sales house w00t!media to manage digital advertising sales.

Funny or Die UK was launched in September 2008 by site patrons ‘Little Britain’ stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams. The website features original and user-generated content. Videos are voted for by users of the site, and those that are deemed funny remain online. Those which are voted for badly ‘die’ are relegated to the site’s ‘crypt’. Exclusive material is also submitted from comedians including Dom Joly and Peter Serafinowicz.
Featured video celebrities include Paris Hilton and Natalie Portman, along with Lindsay Lohan and her famous lonely-hearts style advert.
FunnyorDie.co.uk’s online advertising account was previously held by Sky.

The site recently featured advertising from Sony Playstation, promoting the new Ghostbusters gaming release.
