Morris Plains, NJ, United States, 07/13/2009 - DoubleCheck, LLC was recently chosen by the Bergen Regional Medical Center (BRMC) in New Jersey to provide their governance, risk, compliance and testing (GRC&T) software platform for Internal Auditing and RAC Audits.

The selection of the DoubleCheck™ GRC&T platform was the culmination of a rigorous evaluation by the Interim Chief Internal Auditor, Mr. George Matyjewicz. Mr. Matyjewicz was engaged by BRMC in September, 2008 to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their Internal Audit Department.
As Mr. Matyjewicz implemented a Risk-Based auditing process, he realized that the ongoing maintenance would be too cumbersome using merely desktop applications such as Excel and Word. After careful research, BRMC chose DoubleCheck LLC to provide the software platform.

With RAC (Recovery Audit Contractor) Audits possible in the State of New Jersey after August 1st, 2009, preparation for this eventuality was critical. “We tailored DoubleCheck to handle these RAC audits, including automatic input into the application, updating of all steps in the process and tracking dates,” said Mr. Matyjewicz. “We have critical dates built in with automatic escalation to higher levels of management when dates are compromised.”
