Brighton, United Kingdom, 07/07/2009 - Email and SMS marketing company Pure is continuing its expansion plans with four senior appointments, including new Chairman Harry Meikle and Marketing Manager Abi Clowes.

Meikle has joined Pure after leaving QAS, a contact data management business which Meikle helped to build from seven employees through to a £100m sale to Experian in 2005.
Clowes joins Pure to oversee all marketing activity following a marketing role at Phones International Group, which is owned by entrepreneur Peter Jones. Prior to this she was Marketing Communications Manager at technology start-up GoHello and Corporate Marketing Manager at WIN, the mobile data company.
Adam Bambrough has been promoted to Product and Experience Manager, and will work alongside Clowes to communicate brand messaging to clients, prospects and employees. The newly created role also involves managing product development. Bambrough previously ran Pure’s Agency division.
Meanwhile, Christian Faires joins Pure’s Management Board this month as Finance Director. Faires’ last role was Finance Director at Cactus Worldwide; a global company specialising in UK and overseas language training provision.
The new appointments take Pure’s team to 45 staff. Clients include innocent drinks, Rightmove and EMAP.
