The bank's commitment to online trust brings the tally up to 350,000 customers using Todos devices.

Tatra banka has just ordered 150,000 smart card readers, divided between Todos A200 and Todos Signature. This follows an earlier order of 200,000 units for its internet banking customers.

Tatra was the first private bank to open in Slovakia and this order maintains its reputation for being a pioneer. Indeed, one of its core values is: "We come up with new solutions, support daring and innovative thought."

It is the first bank in Slovakia to offer its eBanking customers an advanced smart card reader. It allows the bank to move beyond traditional one-time passwords, with all their security weaknesses, and equip customers with a more trustworthy and more secure device. Both the A200 and Signature include the latest in strong authentication technology.

As part of Todos's standard offering, the devices will be customized with the bank's logo, color and localized manuals and on-screen text. This ensures greater user acceptance.
