Specialized Technology Resources (STR) recently relocated to a new 75,000 s/f facility in Shenzhen, China, nearly doubling the size of its quality assurance testing laboratories. The expansion will enable STR to meet the growing demand for the company’s full range of quality testing, certification, and responsible sourcing services in the Asia Pacific region. The new facility houses technologically advanced equipment for the testing of consumer hard and soft goods including toys/toy premiums, electronics/electrical equipment, garments/textiles, general merchandise, and hazardous substances. STR also has a 30,000 s/f testing laboratory in Shanghai, China.
In addition to expanding the size of its facility, STR Shenzhen has increased the number of staff, from 300 to 400, and added testing capacity and equipment to better serve clients. STR offers a full range of services including: product risk assessment and consulting; product testing to national and international standards; product evaluations for safety, performance, design, and construction; factory capabilities audits; quality assurance inspections; fair labor and social compliance monitoring programs; and custom designed quality assurance programs.
