“Every feature we add to keytosavannah.com is with the community in mind,” states Bob Letcher, keytosavannah.com COO, “We do not want to be just a Savannah phone book. We aim to be interactive, vibrant, and informative. I think these features, maybe more than any other we’ve added, make the site just that.”
Keytosavannah.com was launched in October 2008. While billed as a travel website, locals will also find the extensive database of retailers, restaurants and events useful. “If you know where you are vacationing, you don’t want to spend hours looking all over the Internet for information about the place,” says Letcher, “You just want it to be easy.”
eMarketSouth, keytosavannah parent company, began in 1999 as a dynamic, database-driven website design and hosting firm and registered as a Georgia, LLC in January of 2000. eMarketSouth retains such clients as EMC Engineering, Brown’s Guide to Georgia, Mopper-Stapen, and Southern Mamas.
