This is the fourth year the city has presented the award. Only one residential and one commercial project are selected each year. The recipient is selected by the Planning and Zoning Commission for efforts in innovation and development. Calloway’s Nursery was chosen for this award because of the company’s commitment to the environment evidenced by the preservation of trees and wildlife while developing the new nursery.

“We are pleased to be recognized by the City of Southlake for our performance in developing the Southlake location. Calloway’s appreciates the great customers we are getting to know in Southlake,” John Cosby, Calloway’s Vice President of Real Estate Development said.

Calloway’s Nursery Southlake location opened in March 2009. John Cosby and Jim Estill, President of Calloway’s Nursery, accepted the award on June 4, 2009 at the Southlake Planning and Zoning meeting.
