Desperate Seller.co.uk the UK’s premier car buying & selling website has today announced that they are working with Mydeo to add video to their online used car sales listings.
The service, that will launch next month, allows sellers to upload a one minute video of their used car from either their PC, digital camera or mobile phone for an additional charge to the listing fee of £3.
Desperate Seller already provide one of the UK’s cheapest and most successful ways to sell a car online through their £29.99 flat fee listing which places the advertisement on 101 leading car sales websites until sold. By incorporating steaming video into their service, Desperate Seller have become one of the first companies to enable potential buyers to view the car via video before contacting the seller and arranging a viewing.
“By introducing streaming video, we are hoping to bring an extra level of confidence to car buyers who look for their new car online” said Russell Berry, Co-Founder of Desperate Seller. “Buyers on average travel up to 50 miles to view and test drive a used car, and by being able to view video footage of the car beforehand, we hope to save buyers time and money as they compile their shortlist.”
Berry continued, “Implementing Mydeo video streaming was the best fit for Desperate Seller. The interface is incredibly easy for sellers to use, and as Mydeo offer no annual contracts or setup fees, the one time fee was easily transferable to those sellers who want to enhance their used car sales listing.”
"We are thrilled to be working with Desperate Seller and for our technology to enable them to offer a better service to their customers” said Cary Marsh, Mydeo Managing Director and Co-Founder. "We have always strived to make Mydeo as simple as possible for users, to bring high quality streaming to everyone, and we can see enormous potential for the service in the online car sales industry.”
