Hofex, the international trade fair dedicated to the Food&Drink sector, held in Hong Kong from the 6th to the 9th of May, is now over, having played host to over 35,000 visitors and 1,800 exhibitors. Statistics from the 2009 edition have lived up to expectations, confirming the event as one of the most important occasions in the sector’s calendar, capable of drawing the biggest players on the international market, including Bormioli Rocco.
The multinational made its presence felt at the Asian city’s Exhibition Centre with a stand presenting a selection of its latest novelties, such as Montepulciano and Rosé, the new wine tasting glasses from the Premium collection. The former is intended for all connoisseurs of the great Tuscan red wine, while the latter has been created in response to the growing success of or rosé wines in Italy and around the world.
Designed to bring out the best organolectic characteristics of reds and whites, Premium wine glasses unite practicality, lightness and sturdiness with a shine comparable only to that of pure crystal, thanks to the special composition of its supreme quality glass.
Another taste of Bormioli Rocco quality was provided by the California and Tulip desert bowls, brightly coloured harbingers of summer’s eagerness for ice cream.
Not to be left out were glassware stars like the Pegaso series, ideal for everyday table-use thanks to their practicality, robustness and usefulness, together with the Hot Drink package, with its mugs, the Dea teapot and the extrovert Oslo cups, with their handles in all kinds of colours.
