Distinguished researchers in the field historically referred to as “Cold Fusion”, or LENR, low-energy nuclear reaction, gathered at The University of Missouri to discuss and analyze recent experimental results producing excess heat, the possible origins of these effects and its impact on future research and use.

Duncan kicked off the half-day seminar with a presentation showcasing LENR results achieved by New Jersey based Energetics Technologies, in which he stated, “This direct experimental evidence is compelling.” Duncan had visited Energetics’ laboratory in Omer, where he was asked by the CBS News magazine 60 Minutes to determine whether the Energetics’ reports of excess heat were “experimentally defendable”. Duncan told 60 Minutes “They've done something very interesting here…I found that the work done, was carefully done, and that the excess heat, as I see it now, is quite real.” (CBS 60 Minutes: Cold Fusion Is Hot Again – April 19, 2009)

Dr. Michael C.H. McKubre of SRI International presented results of experiments conducted at SRI laboratories utilizing Energetics Technologies’ SuperWave™ Principle. “This wave function can produce very high loadings and very high fluxes at the same time, which is crucial. They have been able to produce very large excess heat effects and very reproducible heat effects.”

Researchers in the field of LENR who took part in the May 30, 2009 University of Missouri Research Seminar Series included:

• Robert V. Duncan, Ph.D., University of Missouri;
• Mr. Lawrence Forsley, President, JWK International Corporation;
• Pamela A. Mosier-Boss, Ph.D., Advanced Systems and Applied Sciences Division of SSC-Pacific;
• Frank E. Gordon, Ph.D., Head, Research and Applied Sciences Department, US Navy SSC-Pacific;
• Edmund K. Storms, Ph.D., KivaLabs, LLC;
• Michael C.H. McKubre, Ph.D., Energy Research Center, SRI International;
• Peter L. Hagelstein, Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology;
• Yeong E. Kim, Ph.D., Purdue University;
• Mark Prelas, Ph.D., Nuclear Science and Engineering Institute, University of Missouri;
• David J. Nagel, Ph.D., The George Washington University;
• Peter H. Handel, Ph.D., University of Missouri.

Established in 2001, Energetics Technologies developed SuperWave™ Fusion (superwavefusion.com), a pioneering technology that may create a new generation of clean, abundant energy. This technology appears to produce an astonishing 25 times more energy output than the energy required to produce it. This historic breakthrough technology has been independently replicated by two world-class laboratories, SRI International of Menlo Park, California and ENEA, the Italian Agency for New Technologies.
