Elemental Security, Inc., the award-winning pioneer of new technology in enterprise information security, today announced that it has been named as a “2006 Ten Start-ups To Watch” Award winner in Network World magazine’s 2006 “Network World 200 (NW200) Issue,” published earlier this week.
Each spring Network World publishes its annual NW200 issue, which reviews and analyzes the networking industry’s changing dynamics over the past 12 months, as well as ranks the top 200 enterprises. The NW200 issue also highlights “Ten Start-ups to Watch,” whose cool technologies and growing business opportunities might one day help them join the ranks of the NW200. Drawing from a field of about 100 candidates, Network World editors handpicked winning start-ups based on the strength of their technology, their management team, and the depth of their financial backing.
